Miki Endo – Remedial Massage Therapist
Miki is a senior Remedial Massage Therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. She completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage in South Australia and maintains her professional currency through ongoing education with Synergy Central, ensuring her practice remains evidence-informed, current, and within scope.
To deepen her understanding of human movement, function, and rehabilitation, Miki undertook formal studies in Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia and is currently completing her final year of Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University. Through her training and clinical experience, she has developed a strong appreciation for the importance of placing the individual at the forefront of care, recognising the dynamic interaction between the person, their environment, and their daily occupations.
Miki currently works with individuals across different ages, providing remedial massage and supportive therapeutic strategies aimed at relieving symptoms of discomfort, improving mobility, and enhancing overall wellbeing. Her work emphasises safe, individualised care that supports functional independence, comfort, and quality of life.
She has also completed training in oncology massage, supporting her understanding of the considerations required when working with individuals who may be medically complex or vulnerable. This training informs her emphasis on safety, clinical reasoning, and appropriate referral when required.
Miki is preparing to commence specialised training in Lymphoedema Management, where she will draw on her combined expertise across physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and remedial massage to provide comprehensive, individualised care. Her approach emphasises safe, evidence-based treatment, functional support, and client education, with the aim of improving comfort, mobility, and quality of life.
She is known for her calm, thoughtful, and client-centred style of practice and works collaboratively with individuals to ensure care is ethical, appropriate, and aligned with professional scope of practice.
