Dr Kamal Dhaliwal – Clinical Psychologist
Dr Kamal is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience specialising in working with individuals and couples experiencing difficulties in their intimate relationships. He understands the impact that anxiety, stress, depression, post-traumatic stress, anger problems and drug &/or alcohol addictions can have on relationships.
He graduated with an Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Queensland and obtained his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Griffith University on the Gold Coast, Australia. Dr Kamal is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and is registered to practice as a Clinical Psychologist with the national Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Dr Kamal was a volunteer Professional Mentor to final year psychology students under the Griffith University Industry Mentoring Scheme on the Gold Coast. In addition to this, Dr Kamal currently sits on the Board of The Busy Group, a not-for-profit organisation set up to assist young people and adults move into meaningful employment, and has previously served on the Board of an organisation focused on helping disadvantaged youth.
